The NBPEI Major U18 Hockey League wrapped up play and for the second year in a row the Fredericton Caps are the New Brunswick - Prince Edward Island Major U18 Regular Season League Champions for the 2025 - 2026 season.  The Caps (28-7-3-0) will now host the Northern Moose (15-20-1-2) starting Thursday, March 5th in the first Major U18 semi final series on route to determine New Brunswick's Representative at the 2026 Atlantics being held in Quispamsis, NB April 1st to 5th.  The second semi final has the Moncton Flyers (23-10-4-1) hosting the Saint John Vitos (22-15-1-0) starting on Tuesday, March 3rd at the Greenfoot Energy Center in Moncton. Both playoff series will consist of the best four out of seven.  

In Prince Edward Island the Kensington Wild (16-18-1-3) will host the Charlottetown Knights (12-21-3-2) in the best four out of seven Island final starting March 13th to determine Prince Edward Islands Representative at the 2026 Atlantics.
